It is not difficult to find a restaurant in New York City with exceptional food. But to find a venue that combines superb food, historical ambience and the best entertainment in town can be a challenging quest.
The Oak Room
In the Algonquin’s supper club you can return to the glamour of the 20s and 30s and experience today’s brilliant young performers of the Great American Songbook…launching pad for Harry Connick, Jr., Michael Feinstein, Andrea Marcovicci, Dian Krall, Mary Cleere Haran, Jane Monheit, Peter Cincotti and Jamie Cullum.
Round Table Room
Site of the legendary 10-year Algonquin Round Table lunch featuring the wit of Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley, Alexander Woollcott and friends, our newly restored restaurant evokes memories of a grand parlor. Savor the pleasures of dining on delicious retro dishes drawn from the Algonquin’s culinary archives and inspired by legendary owner Frank Case’s book, Feeding the Lions.
Blue Bar
This popular New York bar is decorated with the artwork of longtime Algonquin regular Al Hirschfeld. The pieces, donated by The Margo Feiden Galleries, feature Broadway shows past and present, including Rent, The Sound of Music and Chicago.
Lobby
The Algonquin retains its position as a welcome oasis of civility amid the hectic pace of New York. Serves cocktails and lighter fare from the Algonquin’s appetizer and snack menu.
