To get a sense of what Warsaw is like, there is the river Wisla (Vistula River) that runs through Warsaw leaving two river banks that somewhat contradicts each other. The more appealing of the two for most tourists would be the left bank opposite to the Praga district on the right.
On the left bank tourists will come in touch with the various districts of New Town, Old Town, Jewish Ghetto, Royal Route, Lazienki Park, Solidarity Avenue, and Marshall Street.
The Old Town is considered to be the most appealing area in Warsaw because it is the location where the majority of attractions are located. The Old Town Market Square is a place to bear in mind consider while traveling through the Old Town to experience the traditional Polish design. Other sites that should be visited in Old Town district are the City Walls, the Barbican and St. John’s Cathedral.
Warsaw still preserved its old communist buildings alongside the modern skyscrapers in the Solidarity Avenue. This district is where the cultural and commercial sites stand side-by-side.
