This centrally located hotel a few minutes from the train station offers stylishly designed rooms and modern facilities in a historic building from 1928. The hotel is within close walking distance to all major Helsinki attractions, shops, museums and theaters and the airport is 21 kilometers away. The Sokos Torni Hotel in Helsinki has recently refurbished rooms in art deco, art nouveau and functionalism style with big windows, tiled bathrooms, satellite TV and wireless internet access. The Torni restaurant serves excellent Finnish and international food and the Ateljee bar on the 14th floor has scenic views over the city.

I had a 'double room for single occupancy' which was a great size for one, especially for the extra £3 it cost over the single. Great service, excellent included breakfast and right in the centre, but quiet!

I was there in July, so the restaurant was shut, but not really an issue as there are so many restaurants close by.

A fantastic stay and excellent value at booking through Agoda - I knew I wanted to stay here and Agoda was the best price. Overall a fantastic stay - was here for work but I had some extra time and was able to easily explore Helsinki from it's central location. The top floor bar has amazing views and is a must do. The service we received was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly. And for an included breakfast, very good with many options for different 'breakfast types' - would highly recommend for business or pleasure travellers - oh and the wireless internet is free all over the hotel!

Restaurant Tip : Across the street is a restaurant 'Karl Johan' - fantastic food at similar prices to the rest of town and lovely staff. And of course, go up to the top of the Torni for a drink and the view.
