The Asgar Hotel in Copenhagen is fronted as a three star hotel. I would question this rating, as it physically has less to offer than a Motel 6 room in the United States. Specifically, the rooms are postage stamp size and the "double bed" could have fooled me. It is practically impossible to get to the bathroom without tripping over something. The elevator is one half storey out of phase with the room floors, rendering it pretty much useless unless you're staying at least four floors up.
Now for the good stuff. The staff is terrific. They are multilingual and do everything they can to be helpful. The location is very good. The breakfast room is cheery, and the breakfast is more than adequate. .
Location, friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast, low price
Tiny room, useless elevator
- Restaurant Tip : Riz Raz Restaurant serves an excellent mideastern buffet at a reasonable price, something hard to find in Copenhagen. It is in easy walking distance of the Hotel.
