Hmong women gather outside the hotel to sell their wares to guests. They are persistent sellers, but not aggressive. If you're not buying from them, don't look at their (interesting, hand-made) wares. They're lovely people- get a guide (240,000 dong) and go to a Hmong village.
- Restaurant Tip : Our local guide told us to eat at Red Dao House (48 Thac Bac Road, Sapa). Great suggestion! The food was excellent, the French wines were good, the service was good- all very reasonably priced.
