We stayed at First House Samui for 6 nights and 5 days. The staff were friendly and efficient; the room was comfortable and clean. We made good use of the pool and enjoyed the wide choice we had of breakfast buffet. We would have appreciated a faster internet service, but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Speed of internet connection.
- Travel tip : Do not be sucked in by the "Scratchy" bandits who will have you scratch the "Prize of the Week" then abduct you and make you endure a 4 hours hard sell on a Time Share Scam. Walking is difficult because of lack of footpaths and hazardous traffic.

If you want to find a place to relax yourself and its between your budget, Samui First House Hotel will be the right choice for you. However, its not convenient for you to go around even if you wish to hang around the Chaweng town as its quite far from the town, by walking distance will be around 30-45 mins. You need to rent a car if you wished to stay there as the taxi charges is expensive but please take note that renting a car in Samui is very cheap. Its less than $20USD for 24 hours.
The room is clean and big, surprisingly for the price at Chaweng beach, you can find a place which is between budget but yet, you will enjoy the big pool.
There is no free transfer to airport which is provided by the hotel and the taxi charges is costly if you order the taxi from the hotel. The massage is expensive as well if compared to other places.

The hotel is situated in the southern beach of chaweng, it is far from the rush of the center - good if you are for quiet vacation and relaxing on beach, bad if you are a party animal and want to enjoy chaweng night life.
Near beach, good breakfast, helping staff, nice rooms.
Far from center of Chaweng, need to take a taxi to get to where the action is.
