The resort is a gem, lovely little touches everywhere make you feel like the owners really care about the guests, even a free library of latest DVDs to view. Suprise flowers are tucked into beachtowels, decorated our pillows and bathroom, and the beach tote and sunhat for our use in the closet were a charming bonus. The meals were outstanding, every course a veritable work of art.

Steps to rooms are high, beachfront not one of Samuis' best, not enough evening entertainment

This is the type of place for those who want to relax in a peaceful setting; also good for families. The beach in front of the hotel is a bit rocky; the hotel runs a free shuttle several times a day to the sandier stretches of Lamai, just a few minutes away. Hotel also provides kayaks for free.
