We had a very relaxing stay at Pinnacle Samui Resort & Spa - just what we needed after exploring temples in Cambodia. The bungalows were lovely to come back to in the evening and there was everything we needed by the beach.
The beach is just a short stroll through the hotel's grounds and is empty of people other than hotel guest and those from the hotels on either side - you have the place to yourself.
Well laid out, clean and comfortable, helpful staff. The beach was never crowded and always a sun bed free. A delight!
Dead at night, we assume every one goes on their tour operator's night outs. Mainly French and Germans as opposed to British people - but you might consider that a plus as very civilised!
- Nightlife Tip : Head left to the end of the beach for a good bar if you don't want a trip into town.

Excellent vehicle hire just across the road. Several good restuarants within easy walking distance.
The only beach as good we saw was at a very luxurious resort eight times the price!
