My friend and I had just spent 5 days at Nora beach hotel this week. Despite the terrible weather that had gone on throughout our trip, the staff at Nora had made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable. We were upgraded to Nora villa upon check-in, and any luggage were carried into the villa. Breakfast each morning by the beach was pleasant. We also tried the spa promotional package where we had a bliss 2.5 hours of steam, exfoliation, massage and facial for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended.
We were upgraded to Nora villa upon arrival, which was a pleasant welcome. The staff never hesitated on your requests such as ironing boards or booking shuttle buses etc. Room was always tidy when we returned to our villa. Upon check-out, we had a really early flight home but despite this we had been given a breakfast pack which was very thoughtful of them. Spa was particularly nice as we had taken advantage of the special offer (2.5 hours of steam, exfoliate, massage and facial) for about £40. Bargain. I regret having only had this once!
We have had to rely heavily on the complimentary shuttle buses to get into town (Chaweng centre) as this is not walkable distance from the hotel. Meals were expensive so we had spent most of our evenings eating outside of the hotel. Breakfast that was included each morning was only mediocre, which was a shame, really.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are these small buses that runs the circular road on the entire island, which takes around 40mins to run the whole circuit, and costs about 50 baht from Chaweng to Bophut (Fisherman's village).

We chose Nora Beach Hotel for the 4th time and would still go there again. It is a beautiful hotel and has a good location as it is at the northern end of Chaweng Beach where it is more quiet, but you still have enough "action" if you want to go out for dinner or go shopping. The villas are nicer than the superior rooms as they are bigger and have a wonderful bathroom with a panorama window to the little private garden. The garden also has a private outside shower.
Breakfast is great, very delicious, wonderfully decorated rooms, very friendly staff, nice garden
Only two computers for internet for all guests, slow connection, hotel could offer free rides from the airport as the airport is very close
Nice place to rest ...Guest Rating: 3.5

The weather wasn't that nice. It rained all days but we were able to enjoy swimming pool and the nice beach before and after it. Walking through the sea shore, I found that the hotel released liquid waste on the sea. In a few years, the sea will be contaminated as there are 2 resorts under construction in the same beach.
Beach is very nice. Also swimming pool and bar service. They provide local newspaper in English. Staff is very friendly and solve all the problems if you are patient in talking English. Excellent breakfast.
I found one cockroach in the bedroom. Restaurant food is not good. Spa very expensive. They could provide free shuttle service from the airport as it is only 5 min. from there. They charge the same as taxis to a round trip in the island. Only 1 or 2 watersports available.
