"Sparse and bare"

The Tsunami had wrecked a good portion of the property, which the pictures did not reflect. So, you are sitting by the pool with renovations that were not done. The decor of the hotel rooms are bare. Location was fine, with easy access to shopping and eating in Ao Nang. Superior room was very spacious and the pool was excellent.
