Very nice hotel as it's new (opened in March 2008). The room are spacious and very modern. It's possible to access to Internet (one computer). Unfortunately, this hotel is very remote. You must take a car to go to restaurant (one hotel car is free of charge on the evening). It's at 15mn from the Krabi airport.

The Howdy Relaxing was a hotel we stumbled across while trying to find "stopover" accommodation on our way through Krabi. It is quite new, (so new that some bits like the pool area are still in the process of being build), so there was a bit of confusion while the taxi driver tried to find the place but once arrived everything improved. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly, motorcycle hire is available as is a connection to the hotels internet. The rooms were spacious, clean and bright and the en suite facilities were again up to scratch. The surrounding area is quiet even though you are in close proximity to a dula cariageway, but Krabi town is a good hour walk away so it's not going to be ideal if you are looking for somewhere party central. The only other thing to mention is that the food is not great, when it's available. Unfortunately when we arrived this time the "chef" was not well so there was nothing available at all but we stayed a week previously so I know it's not fantastic.
Large clean rooms, good pool, friendly staff, fast free WiFi.
It's not quite finished. Food is not the best. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel staff are lovely and welcoming, there are beautiful orchids everywhere, the bed is new and comfy, and the air-con is very effective.
Unfortunately, the hotel is not yet complete, and this leaves you with a couple of issues: the swimming pool is empty and surrounded by lumber, some finishing touches aren't quite there, and taxi drivers don't really know where the hotel is.
Helpful staff, nice room decorations, bathtowel animals on bed!
