Alila is a gorgeous hotel, a place to get away from it all and relax. A place to chill out and recharge your batteries. Complimentary mountain bikes allow you to explore the local area, fishermans village restaurants and Cha-am. Hotel is in a quiet area, but if you want a bit more "action" you can take the complimentary mini bus into Hua Hin about 25 mins away. Staff all lovely, I can't wait to go back!
Stunning architecture, large rooms, fab bathroom. Loved the complimentary afternoon tea every day at 4pm!

- Restaurant Tip : Cycle to the Fishermans Village (10 mins) and enjoy fantastic seafood restaurants!

We visited the hotel for a 2 nights relaxation and it really provided us a peaceful, relaxing stay. First the height and the area of the room surprised me, it gave a very spacious feeling. The entertainment system is really high quality, with appletv (video/music on demand), 42" lcd tv and a good quality built-in sound system.
Swimming pool and restaurants look great, and the night lights and smells of the hotel gives a really relaxing, happy feeling.
Wi-fi coverage (and speed) is very good, with separate AP for every room.
The minibar had a surprisingly wide selection of alcoholic drinks, beside the usual softdrinks-snacks.
Large, spacious room
Coherent, pleasant design (including lights and smells too)
Hi-tech entertainment
Minibar selection
Quite far from everything
The raw-stone decoration seemed too bare, too cold for me

Alila is gorgeous! I spent 3 nights there and didn't feel the need to leave. I didn't get bored once. It is a true sanctuary of hip and calmness, if you have the opportunity to go, go! From the rooftop restaurant and the view to the cabanas on the beach this place 'rocks'. Special mention must go to Non, who looked after me at the Chill Pool every day. Nothing was too much trouble.
Photos don't lie - Hotel looks just like that!
Restaurant food is lovely (There's not much else around nearby).
The Chill Pool and Red Bar.
Rooms with Apple T.V. and high ceilings.
Only 1 computer for use in the library (at least it is a Mac).
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Every night a postcard is left in your room highlighting the next days activities which include mountain bike riding and high tea at the Red bar.
