The most popular one is Doi Suthep, which is elegantly ornamented, combining styles of Lanna Thai and Sri Lanka with Burmese. From the top of Doi Suthep, you can see a panoramic view of Chiang Mai. Bo Sang is famous for hand-made paper umbrellas.
Apart from touring around the inner city, you can also take an elephant trek in the lush jungle to meet hill tribes or bamboo-raft on the river. In the evening, the nightlife scene is concentrated on Loi Kroh Road and Moon Muang Road.
