Overall a good experience if you are travelling on business as one tends to spend a lot lesser time in the hotel as compared to if one was travelling on holiday. Its a couple of minutes to the night bazaar & the breakfast is awesome to kick off your day at business.
Close proximity to the Night Bazaar, Good Continental food.
Front Desk & Cashiers need to learn to carry a smile! Middle Eastern & Indian food needs a better chef!

The Centara Duangtawan in Chiang Mai is situated in a very convenient part of the city, very close to the night bazaar. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and gym were very pleasant. We also enjoyed the piano bar in the evening.
The double room was comfortable and the price included a very good buffet breakfast.
The hotel is conveniently situated near the night bazaar. It has modern facilities.
The bathroom was clean but there was some mould.

This was our third stay at the Duangtawan. The location is one of the best for the Night Bazaar, and the free airport plaza shuttle is another added bonus. The other times we've just got the room without breakfast, but this time we got breakast... which had an amazing selection of Western and Asian choices. The pool and the fitness centres are one of the best in Chiang Mai.
We will keep coming back to Duangtawan (we are frequent visitors to Chiang Mai) for its location and facilities.
The room size - very spacious, great view of the pool. Like the separate shower cubicle as opposed to shower in the bathtub.
The bathroom - if you're not Asian size can be a tight squeeze as the superior bathroom is a tad bit small.
- Restaurant Tip : Good buffet weekenights at the Duangtawan for 190 Baht.
