20 years ago, I had stayed for a few months at this hotel. The hotel was renovated so well, especially the main hall.
A Japanese staff at the reception counter was so kind.
The room of the old annex is still wooden floor, equipped with very old refrigerator, still functioned well though. Breakfast is acceptable.
Wireless Internet was not working well at the old annex,
and there was no LAN cable jack in the room.
300 Baths per hour is too expensive for hotel of this class.

My stay in Windor Suits was from 28 Sept to 1 Oct 2008. The overall stay was not too bad. The hotel is well situated with easy access to BTS station and also to Emporium Shopping Mall. All these within a 5 mintues walk.
However the grand deluxe room was a little rundown. There were minor cracks in the walls and the toilet wooden cabinet's paint was chipping off. The hotel staffs were friendly but lack of proactive altitude to assist guests at length.
Here are two cases. The first encounter was the request for the daily newspaper in the breakfast cafe. There were lack of supply and only a few copies available. Upon reqest, the hotel staff was reluntant to search for additional copies or at least repack used copies.
In another encounter, we were requesting for umbrella as it was raining season in BKK. The plain reply we got from the hotel Bell staff was that they ran out of umbrella for guests. The hotel management should perempt this hype of service request. A little suggestion to the hotel management is to supply cheap disposable raincoats for guests.

I have stayed in Windsor Suites Hotel on 7 or 8 occasions, and always in the modern Tower Block. Ive always enjoyed my stay and think it good value for money, But this time they put me in the Old hotel block, which was poor. It did not smell good and nothing worked properly, and the bathroom was tiny. Not to be recommended.
Large room.
Everything else I disliked.
