I ought not to complain at all because I was upgraded to a suite as they did not have the smoking room that I had requested. But the suite needs better amenities - no slippers, no ironing board, and for heaven's sake, no morning newspaper...that on a day the Thais were battling the Cambodians!
Immense feeling of space in the lobby and reception areas, nicely fitted out rooms, very good breakfast and generally courteous staff.
The location....cheek by jowl with sleaze, inadequate attention to detail especially with housekeeping services.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Underground station is a short distance away and on the same side of the road as the hotel. But is a little difficult to spot unless you are looking for it. 22 baht and a short ride gets you to Sukhumvit.

Swissotel Le Concorde Hotel is a great one to stay. It takes around 25 minutes to get there from the Bangkok International Airport. It costs around 220 Thai baht for the meter taxi via expressway. This hotel has a great access to MRT. The MRT exit is nearby the right corner of the hotel. You can take MRT and BTN Skytrain to reputed shopping malls such as Siam Paragon. Therefore, I would stay at this hotel again when I travel to Bangkok in the near future.
Easy access to MRT.
Big room.
Broadband fee(Thai Baht 600/day) is way too expensive.
Shower at the bathtub does not function well.

I am now a habitue of this hotel and of the chain it belongs to and I will keep considering it my 1st choice when booking in Bangkok. A perfect combination of service, location, food, cleanliness of rooms make my stay really enjoyable. An excellent value for money.
