I have stayed at the hotel before, and what attracted me then, still attracted me this time, that is, price and availability.
The hotel is a little off the beaten track, and located in a small street off Rama IV road. This means that it is quieter than many other places. It represents very good value for money, everythng in the room works, although things are getting tired and a bit worn out.
I will stay there again when I am next in Bangkok.
Location is OK, price is good, the rooms are OK, because everything works. The staff is helpful and attentive. The place is quiet, and I could get some sleep.
There was a cockroach sharing my room. The place is geting old, and is wearing out.
- Shopping Tip : The hotel is very close to the night bazaar, which is a fun place to shop and to eat.
It is also close to Lumpini park, which is good for walking/jogging in the morning, and of course the komodo dragons keep an eye on you.

I drive to Bangkok about once a month and I always stay at the Pinnacle Lumpini because it has great access to the freeways, it is clean, has good service, ample parking and great rooms for the price. The immediate neighborhood is not great, but it is near Pat Pong, the lumpini boxing stadium, the Suan Lum night bazaar, and only a five to ten minute walk from the MRT (subway) which connects to the BTS (skytrain) and between the two you can get to nearly anywhere in town you want to go. The recent remodel has made the hotel even a better deal, however, they didn't replace the room carpets and the one I had this time, though clean enough, was stained and worn badly. The TV channels include an in-house movie channel (says 24 hour) but always stops around ten p.m., ESPN, And BBC all in English. They used to have an English language channel (AXN) that shows series but it was just a black screen in my room this time.
All in all, a great place for the price.
Recently remodeled, good service, clean, and good deal for the money.
Location not perfect, though not too bad. Room carpeting stained, could use replacement. Food not the best.

The Pinnacle Lumpini has always been a good deal for the price but since the remodel it is exceptional for anyone who doesn't mind being out of the main tourist areas of Bangkok. A plus for boxing fans and shoppers is that the Lumpini boxing stadium is only a block away and one of the biggest night markets in town is right across the street.
