Great room (executive room). Great service. Reasonable price. In a central location, you can not get more for your money. Very satisfied.

The reception staff was quite helpful by upgrading my room because they had run out of king size bed rooms. But for the room itself, although already refurbished (some part only) it didn`t have the smell as it used to be, but still a bit dirty. But overall we are quite satisfied for our 5 days stay.

Good Hotel, the rooms are comfortable and they serve a very good breakfast. It is well located next to Arab town, Little India and Bugis where there are many low priced restaurants and markets. There is also a mosque opposite for those of Muslim faith.
The hotel staff and management are excellent. I had a broblem when ther laundry ruined one of my garments. This was resolved immediately and I was compensated for the cost of the garment. I will definately stay there again.

I was there with my wife. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay since the hotel has nice, clean and comfortable rooms, ideal location, good choice of food at breakfast. We didn`t try the North Indian restaurant but found it from other guests to be very good. Hotel has friendly staff all over the place. Early check-in also was not a problem since rooms were available (our flight arrived early).

Hotel reception was spacious and staff were efficient. Double bed was positioned very close to the wall separating the bathroom, even though there was space to position it more centrally. There was no bedside table on that side, necessitating me to swop sides, as I am in charge of wake-up. Few toiletries in the bathroom. Only two liquid soap dispensers were provided and a solitary shower cap. There was no free bottled drinking water, and the hotel charged more than $S3 for 330 ml Evian.
The hotel has 19 floors. The breakfast room is small and crowded. The self-service buffet breakfast was neither comprehensive or appetising. Very little fresh fruit, no rolls and no egg chef to make omelettes. These were charged as extras. The hotel has an Indian restaurant and many Indian guests, Perhaps their needs differ from Western guests, but certainly the hotel has skimped on the basics. You pay for what you get but here I don`t feel you get what you pay for. Would I go back? Sorry, no.

It`s worth what we`ve paid for and the location is quite close to MRT station, shopping malls with their food courts, electronic centre, Little India, Bugis Street, and many more.

This hotel is in a great location and this made it easy to get around. The Hotel staff were not very friendly and even asking for an extra 2 pillows was a problem. Though asking for a wheelchair wasn`t so difficult. The breakfast included was basic with little choice, the staff here didn`t speak to you or make you welcome. The room was clean and a good size the beds were great, and the view fantastic. If the staff had been more friendly I feel our stay would have been a lot nicer, a shame really as my daughter and I feel this is important.

I have stayed at the Golden Landmark each year for the past three years and it must be good as I`m going back in Feb 2006. I found the staff very friendly - they remembered me from previous visits. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is excellent. The only downside was the breakfast - no English tea!

Generally satisfied with hotel organisation with one exception---room housekeeping initiated very late in the day(5pm in some cases). Also had a security breach of the room on last day with valuable item hidden for later uplift. Hotel security management quick to respond however and item located.
