"Consistently good"

This hotel was well located for business and holiday travelers. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool on top was delightful and the availability of the self-service guest laundry was very convenient. I stayed here 10 times over the years and found their service and standards consistently good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel and the room. The bed, pillows and sheets were new and smelled fresh. Interiors looked new too. There was a minisafe, hairdryer, refrigerator, coffee/hot water maker. The room we got had a bathtub while my friend`s room just had a shower. Bayview also offers free broadband internet connection and wireless connection in the lobby. Location is okay if you are used to walking 10 to 15 mins to every place like Orchard Road, Raffles, Bugis, Sim Lim, City Hall MRT, Bugis MRT stations. But hailing a taxi is not a problem anyway. As for the negatives, the room walls are a bit thin and you can hear your neighbour talking or taking a shower. They also had no porter to help us with our luggage. The TV also had bad reception and had no cable channels.

The staffs there are friendly and helpful, and they provide enough socket and offered free internet cables. Great location but a bit noisy. And the sound insulation is not good, I can easily heard the sound from other room. But the room is clean and the bathroom is quite good.

Hotel room was clean but lacking in basic amenities such as a radio and alarm clock. Biggest drawback is that only local TV channels are available. Location is great, accessible to taxis and public transportation as well as lots of eating places. Equivalent to a Best Western in the USA.

The hotel was okay. It was not the very best, but I guess it was a fair price for a hotel in Singapore. The Bayview is quite close to the city centre are and there is a convenient 7-11 right downstairs as well as a food court with some delicious chinese food! :) Nearest MRT is about a five minute walk. The hotel would be better if it had more interior design.

Very clean, comfortable and efficient hotel. Loved the rooftop pool! Also a nice surprise to find a guest laundry, even if we didn`t need to use it. Would recommend the hotel to anyone and would stay there again.

Although the hotel name is totally misleading it is nicely located within five to ten minutes walk from a lot of the interesting areas to visit including Orchard road, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Bugis street, Chijmes, Raffles etc. and the MRT. Service - Friendly and Pleasant. Bathroom - inadequate toiletries. Bedroom cramped but comfortable - occasional chair and table and desk chair designs - poor. Cleanliness very good. Restaurant dining area quite good but, although the breakfast was adequate there was a poor selection of food and the same every day for seven days. Bar area very poor. Rooftop pool, gym and sauna although small were clean and pleasant.

Good room with good bed. Only minor problem because certain people steal towels towels are a little thin. Great pool on roof-great too in the rain. Bed very comfortable with good sheets. In the center of the city so I found I could walk almost everywhere. Subway a little hard to find but once found convenient (a few blocks away)
