A great little �floating hotel� set on stilts over Lake Inle, Paradise On The Lake Resort truly lives up to its name. The sense of serenity from being surrounded by water is enhanced by the distant mountain views, giving the impression of a lifestyle untouched by the passing of time. The large traditionally designed bungalows have comfortable beds and large private terraces, a perfect spot for enjoying the views. Despite the lack of electricity at night, the rooms always feel cool thanks to the fresh breezes from the lake. The open-air restaurant has super friendly staff and serves authentic and delicious local, Chinese and international dishes.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is great.
- Travel tip : Menu at the restaurant is very limited. Two days is enough to visit the main sites around the lake.

The beds with mosquito nets are great and the terrace in each room let you see a wonderful sunset.
