I think Anantara is a great hotel; great service, rooms, views etc. If you are taking an overwater bungalow, make sure you have one of the last ones, closer to the ocean - better view.

Overall, not a bad resort. If you want top class facilities but dont mind putting up with substandard service, this is a pretty good choice. But go to another resort like the Baros is you really want to be pampared by good and friendly service. Expect to pay a lot more though!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The good thing about Anantara is you get to go on snorkelling excursions any amount of time without incurring any extra cost. At other resorts, you have to pay around USD40 per person per day.
