The hotel appears elegant and posh. The rooms are excellent and worthy of excellence. There was an MRT station just outside the hotel so it was easy to travel around KL. Taxis are available easily from the hotel. There is also a shopping mall in the same building. Everything from food to luxury items are sold in the shopping mall.
The rooms of the hotel have separate kitchen-dinning area which cannot be seen from the bed designed in an excellent fashion. The bathroom is also pretty nice and quiet large.
I like the posh and elegant style of the hotel, specially the room I stayed.
More smiling is needed from the front office staff. Also I found it difficult to understand the English accent spoken by 1 particular staff.
- Restaurant Tip : There is street called "Arab Street" near the hotel with many excellent Arabian restaurants.

Hotel is old, it has two wings and depending on which wing you may have to walk quite far to reach the reception. Keycard which i had was faulty and had problems accessing to my room floor inside the lift. Not service oriented, porters did not pro-actively help. Pool attendant was unfriendly and close to becoming rude. More interested in going home !.
Next to monorail and convienience to shops as the hotel is connected to the shopping centre itself. Room size is big.

Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur is in a top location for shopping with very easy access to all parts of the city.
Monorail station is on the 1st floor and there is a 10 story shopping center and theme park at the hotel. 3 more shopping centers are within a 5 min walk.Restaurants are need by you won't go hungry.

Staff are very helpful. Rooms are very clean and quite.
Hotel says it is 5 star I would say it is a 4 star from experience.
Breakfast is a military operation to get to your table due to the volume of people. Room features such as the shower heads and shower doors have to be looked at.
- Shopping Tip : Go with enough clothes for two days and buy as you need it. You need the space for shopping and to avoid going over the 20 kilo check in and 7 kilo carry on limits allowed by the airlines.
