Villa Santi hotel is located in a great location. It is on a quiter side of the town and only walking distance to the night market, morning market, various attractions and restaurants. The room is not exactly that spectacular but the traditional style of decoration is quite impressive. Our romm has no TV but who needs one when we can chill out at the cafe just 2 mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast was quite nice with both American and Laos food. Also the hotel has its own restaurant called the Three Elephants. We think it`s the best restaurant in town, esp the local specialty Luang Prabang Soup. We highly recommend the hotel.

Superb site, right in the middle of the temple area. The monks file past the hotel balcony in the morning, so you can give alms before returning to you own superior breakfast, and enjoy it all the more. Rooms and service second to none. Even the annexe has lots of character. A bonus is the free minibus to the resort out of town for swimming. Evening meals are enlivened by live music and dance, which are both tasteful. I don`t think you could find a better place to stay in Luang Prabang, if French colonial architecture does it for you. Highly recommended, but you must try the watercress soup, at the very least!

What a great location but the room is dark and badly furnished and must have the worst designed bathroom of any hotel anywhere; the designer should be stopped!! Very bad value for the money compared to the competition which is nearby!
