Sanur Beach is a lovely quiet holiday place. Enough shopping to keep you happy without the hectic pace of Kuta and Legian. The Besikah Hotel is ideally placed in the main street and backing on to the beach. The rooms are good, clean and comfortable. They have an excellent Restaurant on the beach and where breakfast is provided. The swimming pool area is great and surrounded by lovely gardens. I would certainly return there again for another holiday.
This hotel is excellent value for money. It is in a good position and backs on to a great beach position. The hotel is very clean, lovely gardens and the staff are friendly. They also have an excellent Restaurant on site and two very good swimming pools.
Some rooms are old and need refurbishing. Also very clean and recently painted, some rooms need rewiring and small maintenance done.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a market closeby on the beach and the unwary will attract a seller from the beach accompany them all through the market urging them to go to their shop. It spoilt my market shopping until I made sure, and firmly, that I did not wish to be followed. At the very first point of being followed - I used to say that I wasn't going to the market, just walking by, otherwise you just can't shop in peace.
