The hotel’s spectacular harbor views could not be better even if we stayed at the Peninsula Hotel next door. The hotel was ideal for our three children and we will remember the experience for a very long time.

This was the best Y I ever stayed in. Their services were comparable to a good 4 star hotel in all services offered. Unbeatable location at the southern tip of Tsim Sha Tsui that was close to metro, ferries and buses. It was incredible value for money and family friendly. It was also adjacent to the Peninsular Hotel which is one of the most prestigious and expensive in Hong Kong.

The hotel was outdated but pleasant enough. Our room had a partial harbor view. The location was excellent as it is right beside Nathan road and also the ferry terminals.

What a great find! A reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The hotel pictures definitely don`t do this hotel justice. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I thought everything about this hotel was beyond my expectations. We were upgraded to a full harbour view which was amazing, the room was lovely and clean and the facilities excellent.

We stayed here from 24-27 May 2007 in a room with a habour view on the 8th floor. I had expected a good view of the habour but the roof of the art musuem was in the way. We could see the view partly. If you stay on a higher floor you may enjoy the full view of the habour.
I rented a laptop computer for my room but the internet didnt work :-( so they didnt charge me for this cost.

My wife and I stayed at the Salisbury YMCA for a short break and we were very favourably impressed. Our partial harbour view room in fact had a very good view of Victoria Harbour and was spotless, as was the small but adequate bathroom. The Mall Cafe serves very reasonable breakfasts (open all day) and the prices in the Dining Room are quite reasonable. The Dining Room could use a bit more of an intimate atmosphere though - a bit bright and noisy for our taste. Locationwise, you would be hard pushed to better this establishment - virtually on the Kowloon waterfront and very close to the MTR and Star Ferry. Gets about 9.5 out of 10 in my book and, should we visit Hong Kong again the Salisbury will be my number one choice.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Position was excellent and meant we could easily go back to our room to recharge after shopping etc. The view from our partial harbour view room was better than expected. The morning newspaper was a bonus and staff were helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at reception until our room was available at 11am and again on check-out. Would stay here again.

It has one of the most spectacular locations in Hong Kong. If you book the Harbour View Suite you will definetly be thrilled at 8.00pm when the light show starts at Hong Kong Island. It is not a fancy hotel but it is clean and excellently located in Kowloon.
