"Good hotel, dodgy location"

Good hotel. However, it lies in the red light district so if you feel uncomfortable walking through that type of activity, you`d better opt for another hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located near bus stops and restaurants in Wanchai. It can get a little noisy though on the lower floors as the hotel is near a lot of bars that opened until late at night. The rooms were mid-sized but clean and the hotel staff were friendly and could speak several languages.

This is our new favourite while in Hong Kong for leisure or business. Location was fantastic for MTR, buses and trams. Rooms were basic and could use a bit of updating.

Reading the reviews before departure, I was worried about the bars near the hotel, fearing it would be noisy. However, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay at the Wharney Hotel HK. It was quite near to the subway station, only around 5mins walk. Also quite near to the exhibition center. If you choose a hotel near to the bus stop or subway, it would be wonderful for your shopping in HK. The staffs in the hotel were very nice, room was not that small. It was tidy and warm, bathroom was also ok. We will choose to stay here again.

The room is newly decorated and very modern. The size of room is rather small but the location is very convenient. The hotel has been re-furbished. It is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom facility is very small.

This hotel was perfectly located almost next to Wanchai station in a wonderful area close to convenience stores and restaurants. The rooms were compact yet clean and in excellent conditions. The beds were a bit too hard for my taste in the standard rooms but acceptable. Saying acceptable was positive because I do not normally enjoy the Chinese passion for hard beds.

The hotel has been refurbished. It is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom facility is very small.

I booked this hotel via Precision Reservation that offered a very good rate. This hotel was situated in a very convenient location in the Wanchai district. It was close to all amenities. MTR station was just steps away. Although it was situated in a red-light district, we did not have any problem with it. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time when I am in Hong Kong.

Very clean and convenient hotel in Wanchai. Close to MRT, shops and nighlife. Hotel was a great deal and the room was super!

Excellent location close to MTR, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Rooms were compact, clean and bed was very comfortable.
