In the food and beverage line, the Wharney has the May Garden Chinese Restaurant, Fontana Coffee Shop, Nickelbys Bar and lobby lounge.
Nickleby's Bar
A casually elegant affair with an atmosphere of light-hearted nostalgia. Nickleby's was named after a very colourful character indeed. Joe Nickleby's home was a tin shack atop the building which previously stood on the Nickleby's site. He was, amongst other things, a heroic fighter pilot, a kind hearted rogue, a bank robber and the only westerner coxswain on the Star Ferry - this career proved to be short lived when Joe crashed his vessel into Blakes Ferry Pier - fond of the odd tipple, his escapades finally landed him in Victoria Prison. He escaped and now lives in Brazil with his wife Lucy Wong (you may have heard of her rather more famous sister, Suzie).
