"Very pleasant"

Conveniently located near Nathan Road in a shopping center, this hotel was also near the Golden Miles in Tsim sa Tsui. The airport bus and shuttle bus to Kowloon pickup point was only just around the corner. Room was well decorated, very spacious and clean. Overall, service was very good and reasonably price. I stayed here many times before and definitely will return.

Hotel location is good (above Jordan MTR) & near Bowring street which has lots of good food. At the airport you can take hotel-link transport to hotel for a fee of HKD 100 per person per trip. However,when we arrived at 1pm, the 3 rooms that we booked were not ready. Even the customer next to us had no room to check into. To get the rooms fast, we cancelled our request for connecting rooms & settled for 1 room with a king sized bed. We were given 2 rooms & told the 3rd room would be ready at 4.30pm. We went our and returned at 11pm to learn that the 3rd room`s key was missing. It was close to midnight before we finally got a room to check into. At checkout time a cleaner appeared at our door promptly at 12noon.

Overall the hotel deserves a thumbs up for their friendly service and their staff. Room is clean and the location is excellent, beside the MTR Jordan station. Will be my definite choice for my next trip to Hong Kong.

The room was very small but that`s HK..it was kind of cosy and clean. The location is quite good with lots of stalls and places to eat nearby.

Very satisfied with the location and service offered. Though the drop off point from the Airport express is a bit far from the hotel itself, but still manageable. Overall, I would recommend it.

"Hotel From Hell!!!"

FAR from a 4 star standard as stated! The walls are paper thin, so you can hear every conversation from the rooms next door, and the hallways. You need to wait a while every time you want to catch the lift, as they are slow and take forever. The rooms are set in the 70`s, and look like a cheap motel (as seen in American movies)!! The desk, chair, couch, lamp, etc... are all very old and crusty looking! Definitely in need of a refurb!!! The room safe is ancient too, and it`s such an old hotel, everything about the rooms is ancient! No electronic door locks either, it`s all old fashion keys with massive key tags to carry around. And you only get the one... so too bad if you are sharing the room with someone else and need a key each!! Changed rooms 5 times in 4 nights, as they all STUNK like god knows what!! Only decent thing about hotel is the location. Close to market

"Handy for the MTR"

The Prudential offers good basic tourist accommodation. It is well situated over the Jordan MTR station and has a restaurant and bar. Also within walking distance of the Star Ferry (about 10 mins). Has the usual facilities eg bar and restaurant. Only draw back is the steps leading from the street into the hotel and also having to use an elevator to get to the reception desk - could be problematic for those with mobility problems although there is a Bell Captain who could take care of luggage.

Located in Jordan area. The hotel is clean and rooms were fine. Good breakfast. Hotel has shopping mall, tour office, restaurant and bar. It is also located above the MTR so is very convenient for getting around.

Great room and good service. The room was clean and spacious. One minor issue is that I had to wait over 2 hours for them to get a room ready even though I let them know I would be arriving early in the morning. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.
