Built around a 19th century palace on an island in the River Nile, Marriott Cairo Hotel combines a unique location with luxurious standards of accommodation and service. The resort is like no other in Cairo not only is it the largest in the city, but it boasts an excellent range of facilities that includes the 24-hour Omar Khayyam Casino along with health club and spa, swimming pool, sports court, Jacuzzi and sauna. Rooms and suites blend traditional Egyptian elegance with contemporary comfort and nearly all have spectacular views of the city, the Nile and surrounding gardens. There are 12 restaurants and bars, which between them cater for every occasion from light snacks to casual barbeque or gourmet dining. The hotel is close the city center attractions such as the Egyptian Museum, Khan el Khalili Bazaar and the Opera House, while Giza and its famous Pyramids are half an hour drive away.

Good hotel to stay for a few days. From this hotel you can start many trips. Its very near of the Nile. When you get a room on a high floor you can look over Cairo and the Nile. Very nice staff working on the quote: Yes is the answer, what is the question?.
