I think the hotel should be remodeled.
My first room had some problems. Water drips from air-condition.
Second room was big.
Highlight of this hotel is the restaurant.
At the restaurant, which is at the top of the hotel, the view is fantastic.

Although great location of the hotel, excellent breakfast and beautiful building, our stay in the Windsor Palace hotel was not as pleasant as expected for the following reasons:
- personnel is not friendly nor reliable
- state of the room and bathroom is bad (ceiling of the bathroom fell on my head!!)
- poor management of the hotel and personnel
- Great location.
- Roof terrace.
- Beautiful building.
- Excellent breakfast.
- Poor service.
- Bad maintenance of the rooms.
- Expensive for the provided quality.
- Restaurant Tip : Chinese restaurant on the roof terrace of the Sofitel-Cecil hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location in Alexandria but they should replace the very old elevators which was not sufficient. But on the other hand food and services in the restaurant is very good lovely people and warm welcome.
